Warranty & Returns

We appreciate your business!

Please do not return any product without notifying us first, so we can handle it properly for you. All of our products come with a 1 year warranty for manufacturing defects. This means that if during normal use, should any part fail during the first 1 year, we will ship you a replacement chair, or replacement parts, at our expense.  Please contact us at info@cozyroadie.com with a description of the problem (photographs are great!)

  • If you have a damaged product not covered by our warranty, please email us at info@cozyroadie.com with your request.
  • If you simply change your mind, we will be happy to refund you the cost of the Cozy Roadie. Shipping costs are not refundable. 
  • Chairs and Shipping Cases must be returned in new, unused condition with all original packing materials. You must secure a Return Authorization from Cozy Roadie before returning. Returned product that does not comply with these conditions will be denied refunds. This offer is limited to 15 days from delivery date.

IF YOU RECEIVE A DAMAGED SHIPMENT:

If possible, get the name of your UPS or Fed Ex Delivery Agent during delivery of the order and have them note on your delivery slip that it arrived damaged.

    • Take photos of the damage while delivery agent is there, if you can.
    • Do Not Deny a Shipment. Please contact us and we will make arrangements to have the damaged shipment picked up and to send you replacement product. Please contact us at info@cozyroadie.com or call 1-833-269-9739.
Any Returns without a Pre-Authorization from our Customer Service Department are subject to denial and/or restocking fees.

Important Information Regarding Your Cozy Roadie

Cozy Roadie Executive Office Chairs are manufactured exclusively for Cozy Roadie by a leading manufacturer of fine office furniture and fully BIFMA certified.

While beautiful and comfortable, Cozy Roadie Chairs are hardy, rated at 275 lbs. However, parts can break or malfunctions can occur if these steps are not followed.

Your Cozy Roadie Chair carries a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty from time of purchase (See below, Warranty). Always assembled / disassembled according to manufacturer’s instructions, and properly packed in the Custom Cozy Roadie Case, your chair will remain beautiful and provide years of comfortable, dependable, ergonomic seating.

Breaking in your New Chair:

Remember! Forcing the seatback lever will break it.

USING THE LEVER TO RELEASE BACK OF CHAIR AND FOLD CHAIR-BACK TO THE SEAT:

The lever on the back is attached to a steel cable connected to locking pins inside the chair backrest. Newly installed, this mechanism can be a little stiff. During initial use, one must operate the lever without forcing it, until it loosens a bit with regular use, to avoid breaking it.

To release the pressure on the interior seatback locking mechanisms, while the chair is upright, standing behind the chair, gently pull the “chairs seatback” towards you, just slightly to release pressure on the locking pins, then raise the back lever and let the chair back fall forward to the seat.

QUICK RELEASE IS WARRANTED TO 275 lbs.:

Both the Cozy Roadie Chair and the Quick Release are warranted at 275 lbs. This is critical information, because if an individual drops their full body weight into the chair, and the impact is greater than 275 lbs., it can push  the Quick Release beyond intended limits. If the Quick Release is pushed downward into a lower position on the gas cylinder, the distance between the Quick Release and seat plate may be too great for the Quick Release to function properly.

If this happens, contact our office for instructions regarding disengaging the Quick Release. Meanwhile, you can still pack the gas cylinder/quick release/seat plate together as one unit, into the case. 

Broken levers, Quick Releases damaged due to mishandling, torn upholstery and broken parts are evidence of using the product not in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and voids the warranty. However, we do carry replacement parts and we can walk you through disengaging a Quick Release pushed out of position, or replacing chair parts that you order from Cozy Roadie.

CHAIR WARRANTY

Cozy Roadie chairs are warranted against defects in material and workmanship  while owned by the “Original Purchaser”. The term “Original Purchaser” is defined as that party or entity which purchases Cozy Roadie retailer as shown by the original sales receipt. This warranty does not apply to “as is” or previously owned seating products.

Cozy Roadie warrants its products to be free from defects in materials  and  workmanship (normal wear and tear, fading and stretching excepted), for one year from the date of purchase, except as provided below under the limited warranty.

The exceptions or exclusions to this warranty are as follows:

  1. Any warranty claim that is submitted after the limited warranty period, or without proper proof of purchase will not include the cost of parts, labor, or delivery.
  2. This warranty shall not apply to the Cozy Roadie products which have been subjected to misuse, neglect, alteration, modification, or attachments, either caused by the original purchaser, shipping, storage, accident, fire, flood, or "acts of God".

In the event of a defect in material or workmanship covered by this warranty, Cozy Roadie will repair or replace, at their discretion, without charge, the  warranted furniture within a reasonable amount of time.  We reserve the right to  require damaged parts to be returned to us upon request. Natural markings such as scars, brands, grain variations, wrinkles, color variations, etc. will be considered normal characteristics and not construed as defects. We cannot warrant leather against scratching or scuffing, as all leather is subject to blemishes with use.

For claims or questions concerning this warranty, please contact Cozy Roadie  Customer Service department on the web at info@cozyroadie.com.  Be prepared to provide your name, address, daytime phone number, the model and  purchase order number of the product, date of purchase, and the store where it was purchased. Cozy Roadie requires that the original sales receipt be submitted with all requests to confirm that you are the original purchaser according to our written warranty.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser for normal use which is defined as a standard work week of forty hours by a person weighing less than 275 lbs.
